Also, I spent 10 years facilitating a pregnancy loss support group (IRL). There were people there at all different stages, post-loss. Every time someone new joined the group, it was a bit of a shock to be reminded of how raw the emotions were, early on -- and, by contrast, how far we'd actually come since our own bereavement.
