Just as I was ready to get back to the gym, exercise, attack
my 2012 Summer To-Do List, lose weight, enjoy the warmish weather etc etc etc,
and - believe it or not - was feeling motivated about all this, I get hit with a nasty cold.
On the bright side, with no kids, I was able to sleep late
and my my husband made me lunch and I felt no guilt whatsoever.

ReplyDeleteI can sympathize, I had all good intentions of going to the gym tonight after work, but was having stomach cramps during the day at work and driving home I decided I just wasn't up to working out feeling this bad. So, went home, had soup for dinner and been relaxing in the quietness of a childless house on our sofa and enjoying it too.

ReplyDeleteIt must be the season. I got hit just as we were heading to my parents for Christmas. I hadn't had a cold of any significance in YEARS. And yes, it was nice to be able to laze around (& have my mommy take care of me, lol).

ReplyDeleteI hope you feel better soon. My grandmother recommends hot water with bourbon and lemon juice -- it works in just about every situation!
