Finally I come to the obvious. One of the true gifts of
infertility is living a No Kidding Lifestyle. I’ve blogged about the advantages
of this before, so won’t wax lyrical about this. Not this time. No, I’ll just add
a quick list below of my previous posts as a reminder. It is by no means
exhaustive. Feel free to add more of your own.
- Cruising and adults only destinations and restaurants
- Being able to savour the moment
- Freedom from the school year calendar
- Sex
- Staying young
- My relationship
- Some of the joys of no kids
- The things I can do because I don’t have kids
- Not having to endure some of the negatives of having children
- More negative “what might have beens”
- A few more negatives we avoid
- Saving the world
I've been loving this series, although am a poor commenter at the moment. Thank you for sharing these posts!
ReplyDeleteOh! I am just now starting your series. Can't tell you how much I appreciate having your wisdom available. You are a gift!
ReplyDeleteAnd you are too kind.
DeleteI love the "Saving the World" part. I have found my place in my work life where I feel that I am truly making a difference.
ReplyDeleteWe all could use a reminder now & then. ;) Thanks for the consolidated list!
ReplyDeleteGreat list! As many of my friends have young kids now, I often am told how lucky I am I can sleep late and that I have free time for me. And they are right! I LOVE to sleep in on saturday AMs and I like not having to talk to anyone after work, or think about picking up kids or working around school schedules. AND a huge one - I don't have to take my vacations in the summer when everyone else is! There are quite a few advantages and I keep learning more and more
ReplyDeleteLOVE the list! :-D Makes me smile.
